While I’m waiting to board this flight from LAX to Kauai, I thought I’d share what’s in my travel bag! As many of you may know, I’ve traveled quite a bit throughout my life. Over the years, I have my necessities of what to bring on board the plane.
First off, my carry-on bag.
It was love at first site when I saw it. An ethnic Hmong Hill tribal classic, the design and exotic bold embroidered patterns make it truly one of a kind. I ended up purchasing it in the gift shop at Twinpalms, Phuket and it was one of the best gifts I’ve ever bought for myself.
As for the goodies inside. Here are just a few of my “Plane to See” items…
Nivea Creme Travel Size: This is an intense, yet fast-absorbing hand cream that’s perfect for keeping your skin soft on long flights. It’s not greasy at all but it instantly works.
Airborne: This is supplement containing herbal extracts, amino acids, antioxidants, electrolytes, vitamins, and other ingredients marketed to prevent the common cold and improve your immune system. Does it really work? Who knows…I seem to think it does and I’m not about to risk anything while on these germy planes so it’s worth a try!
Kiehl’s Travel Tested Solutions: I’ve been using the Refreshing Mist and Lip Relief for years while traveling. They both deliver all hydration, under low humidity conditions, similar to in-flight environment.
Compression Socks: Mine are prescription strength Granny socks (they were my moms) and they make a huge difference on a long flight. Like a good massage, compression socks can help increase circulation in the legs and feet and can also reduce swelling from traveling!
Other items I always bring are a memory foam neck pillow, blanket, hand sanitizer, Listerine breath spray, Tums, Wet Wipes, and Emergen-C! (This is my survival kit!)
